perhaps maybe the number one thing that my mother does that drives me most insane:
everytime is see my mother she comments how clear my face has gotten.
"your face looks really clear. your complextion has really cleared up since i last saw you.it makes you look really pretty"
I hate this. Mostly i hate this because i have generally had clear skin since i was 13 or 14...that was over 10 years ago. she makes me feel like an awkward zitty preteen. i understand that she is trying to give me a compliment but it is insulting. this is the only compliment she can muster up about my physical appearence.
only around my mom do i feel consistantly unattractive...
